Generation Idea Media was founded by Emmy-Award-winning documentary producer Brett Kurland, a 10-year veteran of the video production and marketing industries.
Brett has produced documentary and live-event content for CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, ESPN, and FSN, as well as developing emerging media material, including managing the launch of the first exclusive made for mobile sports content. He also worked with Fortune 500 brands to integrate their messages and seamlessly synthesize their goals into many of these projects.
With an undergraduate degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Brett understands both the art of telling a compelling story as well as the science of integrating a brand message into those stories to achieve measurable marketing goals, and he brings that to every Generation Idea Media project.
